Skate Canada-Mount Forest
Our Goal for this year…
We fundraise throughout the year to help assist families with keeping the cost of skating affordable. The price of the skating programs does not reflect the club’s actual cost of operating or the expenses that are required for renting the ice and the coaching staff.
This year we are looking to raise money through our fundraising efforts to help revamp all of our skating programs. We are looking to get new equipment, markers, props, signs, activities, prizes, etc. We are also raising money to equip our Program Assistants (PA’s) so that they will be more noticeable on the ice to the skater and the parents.
New and returning fundraisers throughout the season!
Stay tuned for the return of Rheo Thompson chocolates and some new opportunities. We are grateful for all the support we get with our fundraising projects!
Last but not least, CARNIVAL! This year end production showcases all of our clubs’s skating talents and skills that they have learned and worked very hard on throughout the season. Families and the pubic always come out to enjoy the show. We are always looking for new and fun ideas for the show each year, which range from props, decorations, and costumes for carnival.
We need YOUR help…
Like all clubs, we NEED your on-going help to raise the funds to support our club. We are offering Mabel’s Labels, Rheo Thompson Chocolates, Club Wear. Then we have a few more great ideas up our sleeves that won’t disappoint.
